I was not made to be in the kitchen
I was not made to be in the kitchen
The voice of a woman shouted through the darkness
In a hot room, quite dark...but lit with fire
On and on she goes, shouting for freedom
Freedom to live
Freedom to express herself
Freedom to lead
Freedom to live out her dreams
Dreams that would be cut short by the deadly paws of gender inequality
I was not made to be in the kitchen
I am a human
I have goals to achieve
I have a future to attain
I want to be a Lawyer...but i can't if I constantly locked behind these doors
I want to be an engineer, but i can't
With these spoons, forks and knives glued to my hands
I desperately want to wear a lab coat and save lives as a doctor....but the aprons are glued to my body....
I AM A WOMAN!!!!
I AM A HUMAN!!!
From the chapters of my imaginations
Lots of love from zoe
